C-PACE Alliance Origin


As more state and local governments embrace C-PACE financing, industry stakeholders are often asked:

  • How does a C-PACE Program translate policy into a successful program?
  • What are the lessons learned from the variety of C-PACE program designs?
  • How can the industry make C-PACE easy-to-use while maintaining quality compliance?

To address these questions, a working group of capital providers published Elements of a Well-Designed C-PACE Statute and Program to Attract Private Capital and Foster Transaction Volume in 2018 (updated in 2019).

The positive reception to the white paper led to the creation of the C-PACE Alliance, a business association dedicated to achieving the public benefits of C-PACE by increasing the volume of quality C-PACE transactions.
